One of the nicest guys ever.  We lost Bruce so early, too, in an auto accident while driving home from school in southern Missouri as I recall; and he'd recently been married.  So sad.  One fond memory I have of Bruce (besides being the nice boy he was, even in grade school) is that he would always come by the car washes we had for Pep Club or GAA and support our efforts  :-)

I had the opportunity to play on a very good baseball team with Bruce and Jim Michel for 7+ years.  During several of those years Bruce was a dominating player, both as a pitcher and hitter.  No matter how good he was, he was always humble class act.

I worked with Bruce's wife, Kelly at Maritz Travel Company for about 10 or so years. She loved Bruce dearly, and I knew that because she wasn't able to talk much about him. Her heart was broken. I told her about Bruce in High School and how he was such a kind hearted, caring person, never had a bad word to say about anyone. He had a heart of gold and was always very polite and very respectful to everyone. Not to mention, he was an outstanding athlete. He was in every sport that was offered at the school and excelled at every one. I never would have known that Bruce passed away unless I had met and worked with Kelly. May he rest in peace and he was one of those that was gone too soon. I know that if he would have lived, he and Kelly would have had a wonderful marriage. My heart goes out to Kelly. It's been so many years now,  for you Kelly, and I hope you have been able to find some peace and joy in your life without your dear Bruce.
