I learned of Jeff's passing through our high school reunion's website. Jeff and I were close during and after high school. We drifted apart after I got married and moved out of state. I contacted him through the reunion's website via e-mail this March and was trying to catch up on what has been going on. Some time after high school, I was able to share my faith in Jesus Christ with Jeff when he noticed a change in me. We had some in-depth talks about eternal life through Jesus. He was very responsive to those talks. I was wanting to follow up with those talks in March, but never got that far. We had stopped e-mailing shortly after that and the next notice I got from the high school website was of his passing. I am deeply saddened by this and want to let anyone reading this know that life is unexpected and short. We need to consider now where we will spend eternity if our life is taken from us tomorrow. It's the most important question of our life. I wish I could have talked more with Jeff.
